LISBON

Went to beautiful Lisbon for a weekend whilst I was staying in Portugal. Being a student and therefore of little monies, I only took hand luggage - in which my SLR would not fit.... this resulted in the worst ever disposable camera being purchased and only 14 of my 27 photos actually coming out. The photos were mostly spontaneous, of places that we found as we walked around the city. We took the Elevador de Santa Justa, a 45m high iron lift, from one part of the city to another at a totally different altitude. It was amazing that the city had so many different levels, allowing us to see Lisbon from all angles and to appreciate its stunning architecture. The photos I've shown show the Santa Justa Lift, the view at the top, and where we found ourselves when we got out.
